Translational Cardiovascular Research
Translational Cardiovascular Research (Transl Cardiovasc Res, ISSN: 2223-3628) publishes articles that describe new advances in translational clinical and basic research broadly related to cardiovascular disease from the molecular to organ and organism level, and provides current and practical information on basic research, diagnosis, prevention and clinical investigations of cardiovascular disease. Specific areas of interest include, but are not limited to bio-imaging, biomarkers, cell therapy, clinical trials, drug discovery and development, epidemiology and population sciences, gene therapy, genetics, genomics and genomic medicine, inflammation, lipid and lipoproteins, multimodality therapy, patient outcome, physiology, pathophysiology, regenerative biology/medicine, translational/personalized medicine, vascular biology, and technical advances broadly related to aneurysm, arrhythmias, atherosclerosis, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease and myocardial infarction, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, obesity, peripheral artery disease, pulmonary vascular disease, thrombosis, stroke, and valvular disease.
The aim of the Journal is to provide a forum for the dissemination of original research articles as well as review articles in all areas related to cardiovascular disease. It is an international, peer-reviewed journal with a focus on cutting-edge findings in this rapidly changing field, while providing practical up-to-date information on diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
